A teenager is fighting for life after nearly drowning at a Sydney public pool in front of horrified families.
Emergency crews were called to the Prairiewood Leisure Centre in Fairfield, in the city’s west, around 3.15pm to reports a 19-year-old man was involved in a near drowning.
Lifesavers performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
He is being rushed to Liverpool hospital in a critical condition.
