A missing ten-year-old girl who sparked an urgent police search after she disappeared from her home earlier this morning has been found ‘safe and well’.
Yasmin Tas was last spotted leaving her house in Hassocks, west Sussex, at around 8.45am today.
Following an urgent appeal, officers at Sussex Police confirmed they had been able to find the missing child ‘safe and well’.

In a statement the force said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to announce that missing Yasmin Tas fromHassocks has been found safe by our officers this evening (19 May)
‘We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who kept an eye out for her or RT’d our post today.’
Earlier today, Sussex Police launched an urgent appeal to the public and called on anyone with information to contact them.
They previously said in a statement: ‘We urgently need your help. Missing 10-year-old Yasmin was last seen leaving her home in Hassocks this morning (19 May). Have you seen her?
‘Yasmin has links to #Brighton and #Hove. Please dial 999 if you see her.’
