British pop queen Adele's massive concerts in Munich have attracted tens of thousands of people from abroad.
An analysis of mobile phone data from O2 Telefonica showed that only half of the visitors to Adele's first of ten scheduled concerts in Munich were from Germany.
According to the data, the attendance at the first show last Friday was also large, with the telecom company saying in a statement: “The opening ceremony was attended by around 10,000 Britons, making it the largest international fan group ever.”
The company indicated that several thousand people from Austria, the Netherlands and Poland also participated in the ceremony, while the United States ranked in the top ten with the participation of about a thousand fans in the first ceremony, in addition to the attendance of a number from Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Canada, China and India.
The second concert was held last Saturday, while the third concert is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Friday, in the arena specially designed for Adele at the Munich Exhibition Grounds.
These are the only concerts in Europe that Adele (36 years old) will perform this year.
