Shoppers are marvelling over an affordable spot treatment that banishes acne and reduces redness overnight.

The Blemish Banish treatment by Australian brand Skin Control uses calamine, tea tree oil and salicylic acid to help combat unwanted blemishes.

One woman was so pleased with the swift result after using the product for the first time she highly recommended it to others on Facebook.

‘Since having my second bub my skin has been out of control with hormonal breakouts and this product has saved me! Pimples literally dry out overnight! My partner loves it too for his nasty ingrown hairs!’ she wrote.

The product is priced at $10.99 at Chemist Warehouse but is also available at Big W, Coles, Woolworths and IGA.

The three ingredients act as a natural antiseptic to cleanse, smooth and protect blemishes from further harm.

The product can be applied in three easy steps, starting by dipping a cotton bud into the pink liquid then applying a dot directly on the blemish.

Then allow the product to dry, leave overnight and rinse off the following morning.

Prior to using the product the bottle should not be shaken.

Other shoppers part of the online Facebook group considered the product to be a possible ‘dupe’ of Mario Badescu’s popular acne Drying Lotion.

‘Love this product, it’s the best!!’ one woman wrote, another said: ‘I use it all over my chin and jawline where my breakouts have been the worst.’

A third said the product is a ‘skin saviour’ for those who suffer from regular breakouts or bad acne.
