Today, Sunday, the Algerian presidency stated that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune went to Germany to treat complications in his foot after he had a previous case of “Covid-19”.
The presidential statement stated that “the treatment of complications was planned before the return of the President from Germany, but his obligations at home prevented this,” adding that “the injury of the President in the foot is not an urgent situation.”
The statement pointed out that “senior officials in the state and invited the President to the air base in Boufarik.”
The Algerian newspaper “El Khabar” quoted an informed source, yesterday, Saturday, that Tebboune will return to Germany to continue treatment or “perform a minor surgery at the level of the man if necessary.”
