Under the above heading, Igor Peshinichnikov wrote in Izvestia about the reasons why Joe Biden was escalating his rhetoric against Russia and its president, in such a rude manner.
The article said: What US President Joe Biden said about Russia and our president yesterday should not be surprising. It would have happened, however, whether today or tomorrow.
Biden said, in a TV interview ABC TV, Putin will “pay the price” for Russia’s interference in the US elections. The master of the White House fell to the point of insulting the Russian leader. Russia quickly responded to this impudence. Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov has been invited to Moscow for consultations. Vladimir Putin responded very brightly, saying, “Speak is the quality of the speaker,” and wished the American leader health.
The question could be posed as follows: Did Biden say this “in the gush of enthusiasm” or was it prepared for an interview? Fundamentally no difference. This is the consistent position of those forces behind Biden that brought him to power.
These forces are the US establishment calling for extreme liberalism. Here is the worship of money and power over the world.
The forces behind Biden proceed from the premise that Russia as a geopolitical rival must be destroyed. The current US administration, or rather the American “deep state”, sees the competition with Russia not so much in economic and military competition as in the struggle between their views and our views on issues of human life. Russia, with its thousand-year history and the culture of hundreds of its rich peoples, and with its traditional values based on Orthodoxy and other traditional religions, offers the whole world an existential approach that contradicts the ideas of the American establishment directed against humanity, and therefore, Russia should not exist.
From the standpoint of a healthy mind, Biden’s statement and anything the establishment does with his hands is just nonsense. Rather, it is more like a religious obsession afflicting the American liberal establishment, if you will. This is, unfortunately, a disease that is not treated. We just have to take this into account and be prepared for a new exacerbation of this obsession that the American patient suffers from.
