The Arab coalition intercepted 515 Houthi aircraft in 6 years
The Arab coalition announced on Sunday that it had intercepted 515 Houthi drones since it began operations in Yemen in 2015.
“The coalition forces succeeded in intercepting 515 drones and 345 ballistic missiles,” Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman for the Arab coalition forces, said in statements to the Saudi “Al Arabiya” channel.
He added that the Houthis are trying to influence civilians through suicide aircraft.
He pointed out that the coalition is responding by targeting Houthi members and leaderships and not randomly, explaining that the recent Houthi escalation is deliberate, and that their decision is stolen from Iran’s generals.
He indicated that more than 700 Houthis had been killed in the last four days, in confrontations with the Yemeni army and coalition air strikes.
