According to the Ministry of Interior statement, the Criminal Security Department arrested five people, including a woman, for forging documents and analyzes of PCR related to the Coronavirus and for defrauding citizens with large sums of money and for deluding them that they can obtain the analysis without taking the necessary swab. The counterfeiting devices were confiscated.
According to the statement, investigations are still ongoing to arrest the rest of those involved, and those arrested will be brought to justice in the first place.
The Ministry of Interior called on citizens to review medical centers accredited by the Ministry of Health to obtain a “pcr” examination and not to resort to intermediaries, so that they are not exposed to fraud and extortion.
