The BBC seeks to have 95% of the cadres undergo unconscious biases tests by 2022, with the aim of avoiding racial discrimination among those working for the authority.
In addition, the “BBC” wants there to be an equal proportion of men and women within the cadre, and also seeks for at least 50% of the LGBT representatives working in the organization to disclose their affiliation with this group.
The BBC aims for at least 20% of its cadres to be of African and Asian origins and representatives of the y ethnic minorities, and 12% to be people with special needs.
It is planned to achieve these goals during the period from 2021 to 2023.
