The Public Prosecution said, on its Telegram channel, today, Monday, that it took into account the results of the investigation conducted by the Investigation Committee against the head of the opposition Coordination Council, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, and other members of this organization and other people.
Since August 9, Belarus has been witnessing demonstrations by opposition supporters to protest against Alexander Lukashenko’s victory in the presidential elections for the sixth time in a row.
The demonstrators are demanding the resignation of Lukashenko, the release of political prisoners and the holding of new elections.
