There are many data that indicate that Donald Trump won the presidency of the United States of America in the current elections, but the question we ask is: What will the victory of Trump, who sees himself as intelligent and genius and that the presidency of America was previously stolen from him?
Trump is the type of person who believes that politics is a violent sport in which you can be hit hard and leave the ring. This concept seemed clear in his dealings with his aides during his first presidency until he fired one of them with a tweet.
Therefore, Trump will be attracted by two wings: a wing of the traditional American establishment who have a history of political work within the state apparatus and in Congress, and another wing is the populist who increases Trump’s racism and his decisions against immigrants and immigration, in addition to the fact that his success will enhance his influence in the media image; The success he achieves comes from his ability to tickle people’s feelings.
Therefore, he has a supportive racist audience and a conservative audience against homosexuality and abortion, and he realizes that more conservatism and racism guarantees him a popular support, at a time when escalating racial and ethnic problems will arise that may lead to violence whose extent is unknown, but will not reach a civil war.
America will close inward; Trump puts America first, even if this means ignoring the problems of its partners. The businessman’s mentality is based on acquisitions and achieving high profit rates and gains without moral motives.
Hence, Europe’s relationship with America will witness a period of tension that may lead to the loss of the rule of Germany by Olaf Schulz, who mortgaged his country’s interests in order to ally with the United States against Russia.
This will be a natural result of Trump stopping American support for Ukraine, as the American citizen sees that he is paying taxes for a war that he does not consider necessary, in addition to the costs of the American presence in NATO to protect Europe that he sees as exorbitant, and the Europeans must bear a large part of them.
But the truth that many do not realize is that Trump’s victory represents the beginning of a quiet separation in American-European relations, which since World War II have been based on complex intersections and entanglements. The Europeans will never again make themselves subject to changes in American policies, at a time when America is moving towards being a first-class country and not a leading and protecting country, as a result of World War II. Is this era over?
Now, if Trump wins, he will seek to impose more barriers to China, which threatens the throne of the global economy on which America sits. In fact, for China, Trump is a president who hastens the announcement of the Sino-American conflict in a clear and frank manner, and not behind the scenes.
Therefore, the conflict will move from Europe (NATO – Russia) to Asia (America – China) and the war will become economic-political. This may push China to build international alliances that create cracks in the global system, unless Trump is in the wrestling ring and does not want to receive a fatal blow from China, and does not want to deal a fatal blow to it, so he heads to visit it to create a state of confusion among observers in constructing analyzes about his policies. His personality is that he is an adventurous businessman who might do anything to turn the tables on everyone.
Trump sees the Arab region within the framework of the Arabian Gulf region because of its economic weight, and this is what makes him return to this region again to strengthen the partnership. He will also try to return to curbing Iran again after it breathed a sigh of relief with Biden, so that he has a vision that the Palestinians must accept the minimum to resolve their issue. Therefore, waiting for Netanyahu to win and extending the war comes from the fact that Trump will be more biased towards Israel.
But the reality is that the United States has an unprecedented state of hostility in the Middle East, in addition to the position of American Muslims on the war, as well as the generation of university youth in America that are anti-war and pro-Palestine.
These two internal factors will constitute a shift in Trump’s policies towards the Palestinian issue, especially with the presence of Muslims who will participate in his administration, and the fear of reactions – if the war on the Palestinians continues – against the interests of the United States.
Therefore, on the ground, Trump will seek to stop the war and search for a way out that preserves the appearance of being accommodating to the desires of Arabs and Muslims, and biased towards Israel, but far from the language of war and threats, and this will be a decisive position from him that Israel will respect. For fear of losing American support, which would lose its most important strategic ally.
The final truth, whether the winner is Trump or Kamala Harris, is that the United States in the coming years will witness a decline at the international level in favor of China and India, which are currently allied after the settlement of the common border problem, so that a new force will emerge from this Indo-Chinese alliance that will lead a new, different, existing world. On multipolarity.
The question remains: How will the United States deal with the new polarization, in light of its focus on the escalating internal American problems, from debt to brutal capitalism, racism, and Americans’ lack of a comfortable life?
However, all of this requires Trump to think outside the box; The stagnation of the ruling establishment: (the Republican Party – the Democratic Party – the state agencies) led to the weakness of the administration of the American state until there were gaps in producing highly efficient leaders and politicians, which is what Henry Kissinger warned about in his book “Leadership,” which was published before his death.
Both Trump and Harris do not rise to the level of solving America’s problems, nor do they possess the political imagination that would get America out of its predicament. It is between the great leading state and a first-class state that is indifferent to its interests. This situation is an indication of a new world.
