Within the framework of the presentation of the 2022 results and the strategies for 2023 of CFE Distribución and CFE Suministrador de Servicios Básicos, the general director of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), Manuel Bartlett Díaz, assured that despite the attempts For the disappearance of the most important company in Mexico, the CFE is in a process of strengthening and transformation, thanks to the work of its staff and the actions undertaken by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

At the UTEC of the Central Valley of Mexico Division, Guillermo Nevárez Elizondo, director of CFE Distribution and José Martín Mendoza Hernández, general director of the Subsidiary Productive Company (EPS) CFE Basic Services Provider, presented the Strategic Direction that contains seven objectives of planning: guarantee reliability, generate economic value, profitability and sustainability; strengthen the culture of service, guarantee the development and safety of personnel; reduce electrical energy losses, increase the operational quality and the electrification of the country.

Nevárez Elizondo reported that, as of November 2022, the level of electrification in the country reached 99.27% ​​and work is underway to reach 99.66% at the end of the administration. He also presented the Business Intelligence Platform (PLAIN), which allows monitoring the consumption of electrical energy at the national level, registering the materials and equipment that are installed in the network, achieving maintenance planning.
