“The Biden team has asked me to step down as a general surgeon,” Adams wrote in a tweet. “It has been the honor of my life to serve this nation, and I will do everything I can to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to achieve and maintain health.”
Today, the inauguration ceremony of Joe Biden, the 46th President of the United States, will be held in Washington, DC.
Biden’s inauguration ceremony differs from his predecessors due to the exceptional measures that were taken against the background of the Corona virus pandemic and the escalating tensions in light of the storming of the Capitol on January 6 by crowds of supporters of President Donald Trump.
