Frankfurt (Germany) Nov 10 (.) .- The 40 in Frankfurt rose 0.17% this Wednesday, barely reacting to the sharp rise in consumer prices in the US and after many companies published their results.
The selective of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange gained 0.17%, to 16,067.83 points, while the technology index fell 0.81%, to 3,874.91 points.
The inflation rate in the US rose 6.2% year-on-year in October, the highest since 1990, more than expected and compared to 5.4% in September.
These figures will lead the Federal Reserve (Fed) to have to raise interest rates, at the latest, at the end of next year, so that the rise in prices approaches its objective of 2%, according to some experts.
Siemens Energy gained 3.5%, to 25.45 euros, after presenting results and saying that it will distribute dividends for 2021.
Chemicals distributor Brenntag rose 2.1% to € 80.80, and food delivery company Delivery Hero (DE 🙂 advanced another 2% to € 111.90.
Adidas (DE 🙂 lost 3.7%, to 284.50 euros, because it has been cautious about the problems in China and supply and despite its good results.
Laboratory equipment supplier Sartorius (DE 🙂 fell 3% to € 540.80, and internet fashion company Zalando (DE 🙂 fell 1.6% to € 75.24.
