The Syrian singer Mayada Basilis was born in 1967 in the city of Aleppo, and began her singing career from the age of nine on Radio Aleppo.
The late singer released 14 albums beginning in 1986, starting with the album “Ya Qatli Al Hajar”, a song from ancient Syrian folklore.
