Lebanese thinker and political analyst, Anis Niqash
Today, Monday, the Lebanese thinker and political analyst, Anis Niqash, died in “Hisham Sinan” Hospital, in the Syrian capital Damascus, at the age of 70, after being infected with the Coronavirus.

It should be noted that Anis Niqash worked as a political analyst and was a coordinator of the Safety Net for Research and Strategic Studies.
Anis al-Naqash was born in Beirut in 1951, and joined the ranks of the Fatah movement in 1968, and held several positions there, as well as joined the student work and the Lebanese organizational work.
Niqash was imprisoned for ten years in France after the attempt to assassinate former Iranian Prime Minister Shapur Bakhtiar in Paris, and he was released in 1990.
