Rajaa Abdel-Rahman Al-Rifai, the widow of the late Egyptian writer and great writer Youssef Idris, one of the most prominent Egyptian and Arab writers and creators of the twentieth century, died on Monday.

Egyptian critic Hussein Hammouda said on his official Facebook page: “Raja Al-Rifai … to a meeting … the beautiful, kind, creative and smiling woman who lived always optimistic … Raja Al-Rifai (Rajaa Youssef Idris) … she finally rested … she passed away. She left all those who loved her and loved her far and away from comfort..I will miss her as well as miss my soul and she is gone .. oh please … to a meeting. “
Youssef Idris had met Rajaa Al-Rifai, a young girl who did not complete her education and was satisfied with a French certificate equivalent to a preparatory degree.
Youssef Idris directed her to read adult literature and after that she decided to enter the world of literature, especially after she became certain that entry into the world of Idris could only be through reading and writing.
