Little consolation is the loss of one of the most important players in your squad, but less does it give a stone. The NBA Just confirmed the granting of a contractual exception of 2.7 million dollars to the Denver Nuggets for the indefinite loss of Michael Porter Jr. This allows Colorado a little more flexibility in the face of the closing of the transfer market on February 10.
The secondary reading is the apparent fading of the rumors that pointed to a possible return of the young forward for the playoffs. And, if a new exception is not made official in the next few hours, it may give hope in the case of Jamal Murray and his return. The deadline to exercise this salary exception is March 10, and it can be used to hire a free agent once the transfer market closes.
