The Israeli occupation army is deliberately expanding the area of destruction in its aggression against the Gaza Strip to the greatest extent possible, following a scorched earth policy, accompanied by its continuous massacres for the purpose of genocidal destruction of the people of Gaza.
As the occupation army continues its aggression against Gaza, the number of martyrs and wounded is increasing, as is the extent of the devastation and deliberate destruction of the homes, property, and facilities of the people of Gaza.
The Israeli war machine destroyed hundreds of schools and hospitals, put the Gaza power station and solar energy cells out of service, destroyed 50 government headquarters, three water pumping stations, and put 6 water desalination plants out of service, as part of a plan to starve, thirst and annihilate the people of Gaza.
Places of worship, as well as centers of international organizations, were not spared from Israeli attacks, as the occupation destroyed about 70 mosques and 3 churches.
The American newspapers “Washington Post” and “Financial Times” reported maps of the situation in the Gaza Strip until November 18, showing the effects of severe damage in the north of the Strip, Gaza City, and south in Khan Yunis and Rafah.
The maps show that about 51% of the buildings in northern Gaza were destroyed or were likely damaged, and this percentage in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip reaches 18%.
The massive destruction affected more than 45,000 housing units in the northern Gaza Strip, including homes, residential towers, places of worship, health and educational centres, and about 244 schools were destroyed, the last of which was Al-Fakhoura School.
The destruction resulting from the occupation army’s aggression also affected workshops, small establishments, and agricultural lands, which are estimated at about 18% of the entire area of the densely populated sector, which has the largest population density in the world, along with Hong Kong, as more than 2.2 million Palestinians live on an area not exceeding 365 square kilometers. .
The Indonesian, Al-Ayoun International, Beit Hanoun, Al-Ahly Al-Arabi, Jordanian, Al-Maidani, Al-Shifa, and Turkish Al-Sadaqa hospitals have all gone out of work, and the remaining health centers are threatened with shutting down after preventing the arrival of medicines and fuel.
