Joint “Dragon” exercises between Saudi Arabia and the United States

On Sunday, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the launch of the “Dragon” joint exercise between the Saudi Royal Air Force and its US counterpart in the Western Region.
And it indicated in a statement, that “the exercise aims at training in tactical interception, combat training and air counterattack, and suppressing the enemy’s air defenses.”
She added: “The exercise also contributes to achieving compatibility and operational integration, and is a continuation of the joint cooperation between the two air forces to maintain security and stability in the region.”
