The Egyptian Prosecution orders the imprisonment of a person whose son caused the death of another by running into a car

On Wednesday, the Egyptian Public Prosecution decided to imprison a person whose son caused the death of another in a traffic accident in the city of Sherbin.

The prosecution said that on February 8 it received a report from Sherbin Hospital of the death of a seven-year-old child as a result of his injury in a traffic accident, while witnesses said that another child (11 years) caused the death of the victim after he hit him with his father’s car that he was driving, and that the latter was He teaches his son to drive it the week before the incident.

Police investigations confirmed the father’s habit of allowing his son to drive his car to teach him to drive, and that on the day of the incident he handed him its key, so the child drove it and hit the victim, causing his death.

As a result, the Public Prosecution ordered the detention of the accused, the father of the child who caused the accident, for 4 days pending investigations, the surrender of his son to his mother and the seizure of the car, while the investigations were being completed.
