The Egyptian writer Waheed Hamed was taken to hospital after an emergency health crisis

The great Egyptian screenwriter, Waheed Hamed, was exposed to an emergency health crisis that necessitated his urgent transfer to hospital for treatment.

The Al-Ahram newspaper website said that screenwriter Waheed Hamed was exposed this afternoon to a health problem, and as a result, he entered a hospital in the Mohandessin area, to be placed under constant observation in the intensive care room.

She indicated that the great writer has been suffering for some time with lung problems with weakness in the heart muscle, and that the deterioration in his health appeared greatly following the huge effort he made during his honor at the last session of the Cairo Film Festival, which concluded its activities in the middle of this month.

And Egyptian media had reported earlier that Wahid Hamed suffered a sudden heart attack, as he suffers from heart and lung problems.
