The Emir of the State of Qatar received Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Oral message from the Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi Related to regional and international issues, especially developments in the situation in the Palestinian territories.
According to the Qatar News Agency, the message was conveyed by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian during Sheikh Tamim’s reception of him in his office at the Amiri Diwan in Doha on Tuesday.
During the interview, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to support and enhance them, and issues of common interest.
Since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza on October 7, Qatar has intensified its regional and international contacts in an effort to achieve a ceasefire and open humanitarian corridors to deliver aid to the residents of the besieged Strip.
