The Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, managed to reach his 100th goal in the Liverpool shirt in the English Premier League, during 151 matches, and becomes the fastest player in the history of the Reds to reach 100 goals, breaking Roger Hunt’s record of 152 games, after he scored his team’s second goal against Brentford.
Manchester City came in second place with 13 points, after their valuable victory over its host Chelsea, which is third with the same number of points, but City outperforms the goal difference.
Manchester United finished fourth with 13 points after losing to Aston Villa with a clean goal, and with the same balance, Everton came in fifth place, after beating Norwich City 2-0.
The matches of the sixth round of the Premier League will be resumed on Sunday, with two matches between Southampton hosting Wolverhampton and a London derby that brings together Arsenal with Tottenham.
It concludes on Monday evening with a meeting between Crystal Palace and its guest, Brighton.
