Berlin, Sep 30 (.).- The euro had a slight recovery this Friday and around 15:00 GMT it was exchanged in the Frankfurt foreign exchange market at 0.980 compared to 0.9764 at the same time the previous day.
The ECB set this Friday the reference exchange rate at 0.9748 dollars.
With this, the euro continued its slight upward trend that began on Wednesday with the announcement by the president of the European Central Bank (ECB), Christine Lagarde, that there will be new interest rate hikes to deal with inflation.
However, analysts warn that there are still factors that put the euro under pressure.
The possibility that Germany, Europe’s largest economy, enters a recession between the end of this year and the beginning of next is growing, as the leading economic research institutes found in their joint report.
