Berlin, March 4 (.).- The euro fell this Friday to its lowest level since May 2020 and at 15:48 GMT it lost 1.49% to settle at 1,090 dollars.
The war in Ukraine has created nervousness about the prospect of inflation and while in the US the Federal Reserve seems willing to take action, the European Central Bank (ECB) is more reluctant to do so, which has put pressure on the single currency, according to an analysis of Commerzbank (DE:).
The ECB fixed the reference price of the euro at 1.0920 dollars.
