Frankfurt (Germany), Nov 9 (.) .- The euro recovered 1.16 dollars this Tuesday after the sharp fall in the profitability of the US debt, which slows the appreciation of the greenback.
The euro was trading at around 16.00 GMT at $ 1.1585, compared to $ 1.1588 in the last hours of the European currency market trading the previous day.
The European Central Bank (ECB) set the benchmark exchange rate for the euro at $ 1.1579.
Wholesale prices in the US rose again in October, 0.6%.
Investor confidence improved in Germany in November, after five consecutive declines, as optimism for the next six months increased.
The single currency was exchanged in a fluctuation band between 1.1570 and 1.1609 dollars.
