Berlin, March 29 (.).- The euro remained above $1.08 today, at levels similar to those of the previous day and apparently having overcome the turbulence in the banking sector suffered in recent days.
The euro was exchanged around 17:00 GMT at $1.0833, compared to $1.082 in the last hours of European currency market trading the previous day.
The European Central Bank (ECB) set the reference exchange rate for the euro at $1.0847.
The single currency moved in a fluctuation band between 1.0817 and 1.0871 dollars.
