A possible vaccine against the emerging corona virus – Archive
The European Commission has announced that controlling the coronavirus epidemic in Europe may be achieved by the end of 2021.
The UNHCR added that “the pace of vaccination should play an important role in this process in order to suppress the epidemic, and it is necessary that about 70% of the population enjoy protection from the virus.”
According to a statement issued by Brussels, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stressed that “the vaccine will be available to all European Union citizens”, after the Commission allowed the use of “Pfizer” and “Biontech” vaccines.
The British Health Minister Matthew Hancock announced last week that “a new strain of the virus has been identified in the country, which is spreading faster than the mother.”
It is noteworthy that Russia recently launched a comprehensive vaccination campaign in the country against the Corona virus with its “Sputnik V” vaccine, which was produced by the “Gamalia” State Medical Center, and it was the first of its kind in the world.
