The European Medicines Agency evaluates a new Corona drug that Trump used in treatment

The European Medicines Agency has begun evaluating a new drug to treat people infected with the emerging coronavirus, which causes “Covid 19”.

The agency announced that the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use is evaluating the drug “REGN-COV2”, which is based on a combination of two antibodies.

And it was reported that this drug, developed by the American company “Regeneron” and “Hoffman La Roche” in Switzerland, was used last year in the treatment of former US President Donald Trump.

The European Medicines Agency stated that the evaluation of the effectiveness of the drug “Regen-Cove 2” is being carried out as part of a regular review process.

One study indicates that the drug can reduce the amount of virus present in the blood, according to the European Medicines Agency.

It is worth noting that the US Food and Drug Administration has authorized the emergency use of the drug “Regen-Cove 2”.
