The European Foreign Policy Authority said, in a statement issued on Saturday, that the European Union “condemns yesterday’s attack carried out by drones against an oil facility in Riyadh, which was adopted by Ansar Allah,” adding that the operation represents “the latest link in a series of dangerous attacks targeting sites in various regions.” Saudi”.
The commission considered that “this exposes civilians and vital infrastructure to danger,” stressing that “this aggression must stop.”
The statement said that such attacks lead to “an intensification of confrontations, strikes and violence inside Yemen, which civilians, including children, bear the brunt of.” The European Union has again rejected all operations targeting Yemenis.
He added that the attacks in and around Yemen undermine the efforts of the UN envoy, Martin Griffiths, and delay the chances of resolving the conflict, calling on all parties to fulfill their obligations and cooperate with him to reach a comprehensive political settlement.
On Friday, the “Ansar Allah” group announced the implementation of an attack with six drones targeting the Saudi oil company, Aramco.
In turn, the Saudi Ministry of Energy stated that the “Aramco” plant in Riyadh was attacked by drones from Yemen, and as a result a fire broke out that was controlled without any casualties or injuries. The attack did not affect the company’s supplies of oil and products.
