The representative of the World Health Organization in Russia, Melita Voinovich, said that she received a Russian vaccine against the emerging corona virus, confirming that she is in good health.

Voinovich said, in an interview with “TASS” agency, today, Wednesday: “Vaccination, like any other type of medical intervention, is a personal decision for every person. In accordance with the national policy for vaccination against Covid-19 in the Russian Federation, the country in which I live now, I received one of the two vaccines.” Which have been approved at the national level. “

“I am in good condition. As for the decision of others, it is up to the personal life of people,” the WHO official added, without explaining what vaccine I took.

Russia is the first country in the world to register a vaccine against the emerging corona virus, as it approved on August 11, 2020 the adoption of the “Sputnik V” vaccine developed by the “Gamalia” National Scientific Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology Research.

And in October 2020, the Russian health authorities registered the “Epivac Corona” vaccine, which was developed by the government scientific “Victor” Center, while it is expected that a validation of the “Kovivac” vaccine designed by the Chumakov Scientific Center for Research and Development of Immune Drugs will soon be issued.
