Beckett’s mother, Caitlin, said she posted a picture of the distressing Beckett and his sister Aubrey in 2019 to remind others of the importance of family in difficult times, and adds that the two brothers now have an “irreplaceable bond”, with Aubrey having had a huge impact in helping Beckett through his ordeal and illness.
She added that Beckett was now in good enough shape, and Aubrey felt less responsible for him, saying: “When he was undergoing chemotherapy, she was more of a motherly figure, but Aubrey began to notice that he was over the stage of treatment, and that he wanted to be more independent.”
