Former Apprentice winner Dr Leah Totton has revealed her new treatment which claims to be a safe non-invasive alternative to the controversial Brazilian Bum Lift, and is taking over the cosmetics industry.
Speaking ahead of the launch of series 16 tonight, Irish-born Leah, 33, who won Apprentice Lord Sugar’s £250K investment in 2013 and has since opened three clinics turning over millions, shared the cosmetic industry’s new answer to BBL.
The ‘Hip Dip Fix’ has gained traction as the answer to the previously controversial surgical bottom and hip enhancement procedure BBL – which has been deemed unsafe by The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
Promising to improve cellulite and overall skin quality, as well as restore skin elasticity and give you ‘perfect proportions’, ‘Lanluma’ works by injecting a collagen stimulating filler into the affected area for a rounded effect.
While BBL works by taking natural fat from the waist and other unwanted areas and injecting it into the hips and bottom at a cost of £10,000, the non-surgical treatment works without liposuction and costs £3,800 for four vials – lasting between two to three years.

Sophie, a 30-year-old PA, from London, was unhappy with her bum and wasn’t seeing any difference by going to the gym.
Keen to get a more curvy shape, seen on celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian, she decided to have two vials of the Lanluma treatment injected into her hip area – costing £1,900.
She told FEMAIL: ‘I was not happy about the lack of perkiness in my bum as well as the overall shape. This affected my confidence massively, there is quite a focus in the media around having a perky perfect bum, I just wanted to feel confident with my own beach body.
‘I tried to exercise but it didn’t seem to make much difference so I decided to do some research into potential treatments. I knew I would never do something as invasive and risky as a BBL so the idea of the Lanluma bum lift really intrigued me, it seemed so easy and less scary.

‘I heard about the Lanluma bum lift on Instagram which led me to research the treatment further. It looked very low risk, with natural and subtle results, producing beautiful after results.’
Sophie was treated by Dr Deepa and Dr Sidra in Dr Leah’s Baker Street clinic with two vials of Lanluma and was thrilled with the results.
She said: ‘The treatment itself was much easier than expected, it was nowhere near as painful as I thought. With help from the amazing doctors, it was actually quite relaxing. Overall it was a great lunchtime fix. I was completely surprised by how comfortable the whole procedure was.’
Anxious that her shape wouldn’t look too different from before, Sophie opted for a smaller amount of filler.
‘It was the correct amount for my concerns, my confidence is completely boosted I feel incredible’, she said.

There is a huge demand for bum enhancement with bum lift procedures increasing in popularity by 252 per cent since 2000.
‘With the latest trends in curvy body shapes, cosmetic procedures like BBL surgery have increased in popularity. Everyone wants the perfect hourglass proportions.
‘There are however a considerable number of cases where BBL surgery has gone wrong and it has been labelled one of the most dangerous plastic surgery procedures due to the number deaths.
‘Surgeons in the UK have now been advised not to perform BBL, so we decided to offer a safe and effective alternative, an injectable bum enhancement in the form of Lanluma injections.

It is a collagen stimulating injectable treatment made from Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) which has been used safely in aesthetic medicine for decades. It gives your buttocks a more rounded appearance by stimulating your natural collagen production.
Lanluma works within the deep dermis and activates the natural collagen in two ways mainly.

What happens during the treatment?
Following consulation, the Lanluma bum lift treatment normally takes one hour.
You are awake throughout the procedure and the actual process should take no more than 30 minutes and is not particularly painful.
The area to be enhanced should be marked and sterilised. You will then have a local anaesthetic injected which will make the lanluma bum lift virtually painless. How long does recovery take?
