Arab media and social media pages published a picture of the late Syrian artist and director Hatem Ali, which they said was his “last photo” before he died of a heart attack in a Cairo hotel.
The picture shows the late artist sitting around a table in the hotel with his phone in hand, in a scene that suggests that he was browsing his messages or making one of his calls.

According to Laha magazine, the Palestinian critic Ola Al-Sheikh published on her Facebook account a picture of the late director Hatem Ali, and the sheikh said in the spoken colloquial language: “There was no better than this morning, but today is a lot of bad, I don’t believe you left. All that I possess is from Syria in a spirit.
The magazine stated that the last photo was taken by the Syrian artist while he was in the hotel in the Zamalek area of the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The Syrian newspaper “Al-Watan” revealed that the 58-year-old Syrian director Hatem Ali died in Egypt after a sudden heart attack.
The Qasr al-Nil Prosecutor decided to authorize the burial of Hatem Ali’s body, after investigations concluded that the death was a natural result of a heart attack, and there was no criminal suspicion about the death.
