The world champion Argentine national team retained its top spot in the latest edition of the 2023 world national team rankings issued – today, Thursday – by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
The top ten positions in the FIFA rankings saw no change:
- Argentina is in the lead
- France
- England
- Belgium
- Brazil
- Holland
- Portugal
- Spain
- Italy
- Croatia.
At the level of the African continent, the Moroccan national team came in first, ranked 13th in the world rankings, followed by:
- Senegal
- Tunisia
- Algeria
- Egypt
- Nigeria
- Cameroon
- Cote d’Ivoire
- Mali
- Burkina Faso.
The Japanese team, ranked 17th in the world rankings, came at the top of the Asian teams rankings, followed by:
- Iran
- South Korea
- Australia
- Saudi Arabia
- Qatar
- The UAE
- Uzbekistan
- Iraq
- China.
In the classification of the South American continent, the Argentine national team topped the list, followed by it
- Brazil
- Uruguay
- Colombia
- Ecuador
- Peru
- Chile

- Bolivia.
In the North American classification, the American national team ranked first, followed by:

- Panama
