The number of journalists martyred as a result of the ongoing Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip has risen to 90 since October 7.
Al-Jazeera cameraman Samer Abu Daqqa was the last martyr of the truth after he and his colleague – the channel's correspondent – Wael Al-Dahdouh were injured on Friday by shrapnel from a missile fired from an Israeli reconnaissance plane while they were covering a bombing that targeted a school in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Abu Daqqa remained lying on the ground bleeding for 5 hours near the Farhana School in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, after the occupation forces prevented ambulances from reaching and rescuing him.
