Libya .. The “National Army” warns of violating sovereignty by land, sea or air
The General Command of the “Libyan National Army” warned against any attempt to violate the sovereignty of the Libyan territories, whether by penetrating the territorial waters, the country’s land borders, or its national airspace.
The General Command said that, through following up the work of the monitoring and warning units, it became evident that foreign aircraft were attempting to enter the Libyan airspace without coordination or prior permission from the Libyan competent authorities entrusted with the task of setting the necessary arrangements for the crossing of aircraft, via internationally known lines, or exceptional aviation, which may be Military aviation on specific missions or crossing Libyan airspace.
And it warned that any attempt to penetrate the Libyan airspace “might expose the aircraft to the risk of being intercepted and destroyed by the Libyan Arab air defense media.”
