Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller will remain on the case for another season.
Netflix has announced a fourth season for David E. Kelley drama The Lincoln Lawyer, with production set to begin on 10 new episodes in February in Los Angeles. The upcoming season will be based on the sixth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series by Michael Connelly, The Law of Innocence.
Debuting on May 13, 1922, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo’s Mickey Haller is a defense attorney in Los Angeles who often works out of a chauffeur-driven Lincoln Navigator. The cast of The Lincoln Lawyer also includes Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy), Angus Sampson (Cisco), and Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson (who has been upgraded to series regular for this next season).
“We are so excited to tell more stories with Mickey Haller, and especially thrilled to once again be shooting The Lincoln Lawyer in Los Angeles at this time,” said co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez in a statement. “The show is in many ways a love letter to our city and an homage to the great tradition of LA noir, and after the tragedy of the fires we are so grateful and honored to be able to provide some stability and hope to the community.”
The most recent season of The Lincoln Lawyer concluded in October. Thirty episodes, to-date, have been produced.
In 2011, Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey portrayed Mickey Haller in the film of the same name.
