RT obtained a video clip from a home camera documenting the moment of the assassination of an Iraqi intelligence officer in the high-end Mansour district in central Baghdad.
Earlier in the day, our correspondent in Iraq reported that gunmen assassinated an officer in the Iraqi intelligence service in the center of the capital, Baghdad.
RT correspondent quoted a security source as saying, “Gunmen assassinated a lieutenant colonel in the Iraqi National Intelligence Service in the Mansour district in central Baghdad.”
In recent weeks, the Iraqi intelligence service has been subjected to political attack and criticism by political parties and armed factions.
