The German “Transfermarkt” website, which specializes in the football economy and the market value of players and teams, revealed the lineup of the most expensive players whose contracts with their clubs will expire next summer, and who can negotiate with any club starting this month.
The site published a list of the 11 highest-value players whose contracts expire next summer, with a combined market value of 540 million euros.
Since the beginning of this month, football players whose contracts expire on June 30 can officially negotiate with interested clubs and sign contracts to join their new teams early next season, according to the laws of the International Football Association.
The list witnesses the presence of a number of prestigious names, led by the French star of Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappe, the football player with the highest market value in the world, with a value of 160 million euros.
Also on the list are the two French stars Paul Pogba, worth 55 million euros, and Barcelona player Ousmane Dembele, with 30 million euros.
Among the most expensive stars currently available are Argentine star Paulo Dybala (50 million euros), and Milan midfielder Frank Kessie, with a market value of 48 million euros.
The squad included defenders from major European clubs, such as German Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen from Chelsea, in addition to Bayern Munich defender Niklas Zule, all with the same value of 35 million euros.
