The NBA has made official for its 75th anniversary the list with the first 25 best players in its history. Next Wednesday another 25 will be announced, and on Thursday the final 75 will be announced.
In this first publication, names such as Bill Russell, Dirk Nowitzki, Willis Reed, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar or the current Kevin Durant, James Harden and the recently crowned MVP and NBA champion Giannis Atentokounmpo stand out.

When is the list complete?
It will be announced in three parts during the 2021-22 regular season:
- First 25 names: Tuesday, October 19.
- Second round of 25 names: Wednesday, October 20.
- Last 25 players: Thursday, October 21.

The list of the 75 best players in the NBA compiled for its 75th anniversary has been compiled by a group made up of journalists, former players, current players, coaches and league executives.
