The new commercial and entertainment spaces that CDMX will soon open

The Covid-19 pandemic delayed the opening and construction of projects of shopping and entertainment centers; however, the reactivation of economic activities begins to mobilize these works, especially in Mexico City.

Due to the demographic density of the city, the developers of the commercial real estate They find it attractive to land their projects in the Mexican capital, so they prepare the delivery of new complexes.

This situation can also affect housing rental prices in the areas surrounding these spaces.

Some of the most anticipated shopping and entertainment centers are:

Courtyard Martin Carrera

This space will be located in the north of the city, near the Martín Carrera metro, between the avenues San Juan de Aragón and Ferrocarril Hidalgo. It is expected to have 90 commercial premises and 782 parking spaces.

Among the department stores that are planned for this new mall there are: Promoda, Milano, Coppel, Cinemex, Energy Fitness, Recórcholis and Vips.

According to data from the Index of the Inmuebles24 platform, the average rental price in the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office, where this plaza is located, is 9,786 pesos, with an annual variation of 9.19 percent.

Countess Space

For those interested in living in the area near La Condesa or the Roma neighborhood, they will soon have a mixed-use mega-development nearby that will integrate apartments, office spaces, and a mallwhich will have bars, restaurants, cinema, banks and a playroom.

The project includes two towers, one with 37 floors and the other with 31, which will be joined by the four-story base, which will be the mall.

Espacio Condesa will have an access through Circuito Bicentenario and another on Benjamín Franklin street. There is no exact date for its opening yet, but it is expected to be this year.

The park that for years was known as “La Feria de Chapultepec” gave way to a new cultural and entertainment project that is now known as Parque Aztlán.
