The official of the media office of the new Libyan Presidential Council stated that the Tunisian president expressed his happiness in this call, noting that the beginning of the solution to the Libyan crisis was purely Libya, stressing Tunisia’s keenness to contribute to reaching a quick solution to the crisis in Libya.
In turn, the exiled president affirmed to the Tunisian president the depth of the relationship between the brotherly peoples of Tunisia and Libya, with their common bonds, and a high price for the Tunisian role in reaching a solution to the Libyan crisis.
At the end of the call, the Tunisian president sent an official invitation to the head of the Libyan Presidency Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, to visit the Republic of Tunisia, to discuss aspects of cooperation between the two countries, expressing his hope that the visit would take place as soon as possible.
