The new investment route will be to strengthen tourism activity: Julio Menchaca

The government of Hidalgo and the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Concanaco-Servytur) signed a collaboration agreement to attract investment and promote tourism.

The governor of Hidalgo, Julio Menchaca Salazar, stated that the new investment route will be to strengthen tourism, without leaving behind the primary and secondary sectors.

Given this, he thanked the president of Concanaco, his board of directors and the four chambers of commerce that are in the entity and pointed out that it is a reflection of the good communication between the federal, state and municipal presidents and announced the visit to Hidalgo del Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Ángel Torruco Marqués to continue strengthening tourist activities.

For his part, Héctor Tejada Shaar, president of Concanaco Servytur, pointed out that Hidalgo has a great advantage with his governor, because he comes from business families, a sector that contributes to generating the economy and employment in the country.

He indicated that 2022 was the year of economic reactivation and that 2023, without a doubt, will be the year of the generation of economy and digitalization due to the economic growth of Mexico.

“We are very happy because with this agreement we can give an important boost to tourism in Hidalgo; remember that 6 out of 10 pesos are generated through tourism. Thanks to micro, small, medium and large companies that employ thousands of people, for this reason we will continue to provide all companies with the necessary tools to continue growing”, pointed out Tejada Shaar.

In the same way, he explained that through a digital ecosystem for commerce and tourism through the Concatour and Concaclick platforms, reservations can be made in hotels and restaurants, in addition to acquiring products in more than 500,000 registered companies and businesses throughout the country. on this platform.

“Concanaco Servytur México brings progress. With this application we can attract more tourists and let them see the wealth that we have in each of our states, in each of the corners of our beloved Mexico, we want it to benefit all the communities of our country” explained.

The Secretary of Tourism of Hidalgo, Elizabeth Quintanar Gómez stated that the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Canaco Servitur) is an ally for the actions that are to be carried out in the state before the signing of the agreement, in addition to helping to exercise the 60 percent of the wealth in the country and that brings together 65 percent of the workforce in Mexico.

He stressed that from the moment the transformation came to Hidalgo, the governor instructed him to work every day to modernize tourism in the state and emphasize that the new era that society is experiencing globally is the starting point for those who If you work in the tourism industry, focus your efforts to generate a lever for social development that benefits the people of Hidalgo.

“Hidalgo is a window of opportunity for tourism investment, we are a town with natural, cultural, and gastronomic wealth with a high vocation for service. Innovating through the use of technology and integrating it into tourism activities will trigger the attraction of investments that will make it easier for tourism service providers to strengthen the national business digital ecosystem and diversify the tourism palette of our state,” said Quintanar Gómez.

He added that tourism entrepreneurs are an essential part of the value chain and at all times they have the support of the sector.

“The state of Hidalgo is great, this event is very significant because the government of the state of Hidalgo takes a firm step with Concanaco, to move towards the use of new digital tools that contribute to making tourism an enriching experience that facilitates and surpasses expectations of tourists,” said Elizabeth Quintanar.

For his part, Carlos Henkel Escorza, Secretary of Economic Development, highlighted that thanks to the determined impulse of the governor to generate circular economy schemes in Hidalgo, today there is a sample of the good relationship that will be maintained with those who risk their capital in projects of investment.

“We will seek to generate benefits and attract investment through the promotion of initiatives in micro and small businesses through different programs that support all economic sectors,” declared Henkel Escorza.

At the end of the event, the national leader of the Concanaco, inaugurated in the Chamber of Pachuca the Executive Room for Directors “Maestro Eduardo Iturbe Méndez”, former president of the chamber, whose photograph was unveiled on the wall of former presidents and who received the Medal for Merit Canaco Servytur Pachuca.
