The Israeli occupation army acknowledged today, Saturday, the killing of a major, a company commander in the logistics support battalion, during battles in the central Gaza Strip.
He announced – in a brief statement – the death of Reserve Major Yotam Yitzhak Peled (34 years old) from the Rosh Ha'Ayin area (north), noting that Commander of an administrative support company in the 8119th Logistics Corps Battalion, killed in battle in the central sector.
Later, the Israeli army also announced the death of a soldier during battles in the central Gaza Strip.
In total, the number of Israeli soldiers killed since the outbreak of the war on October 7 has reached 692, including 331 in ground battles in Gaza since the 27th of that month, according to Anadolu.
While the number of wounded Israeli soldiers reached 4,327, including 2,214 soldiers in ground battles, according to data from this army, which faces local accusations of concealing a larger number of its dead and wounded.
Earlier today, it was announced that Al-Qassam Brigades -The military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (agitation)- Detonating two anti-personnel bombs in two jeeps of the occupation forces, and clashing with the remaining Israeli soldiers, killing and wounding them, in the vicinity of the university college in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
The battalions said that their fighters “observed the landing of evacuation helicopters after the two bombs were detonated, and clashed with enemy soldiers there.”
For her part, she said: Al-Quds Brigades -The military wing ofIslamic Jihad MovementIts fighters are engaged in fierce clashes with the occupation on the axes of progress north of Khan Yunis.
This comes as the occupation army continues its war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing, amid a humanitarian situation described as catastrophic, and a worsening famine looming over this besieged sector.
