He was arrested by the Israeli occupation army Gaza boss Al-Shifa Medical Complex Muhammad Abu Salamiya and a number of medical personnel, according to what was announced by the Israeli Broadcasting Authority and doctors in the hospital currently under the control of the occupation forces after a siege and bombing, followed by a storming and then its complete evacuation 5 days ago.

Khaled Abu Samra (a doctor at Al-Shifa Hospital) told Agence France-Presse that the occupation arrested Abu Salamiya and cadres from the medical complex at dawn on Thursday.

Abu Salmiya reported a few days ago that he had received an order from the occupation to evacuate the hospital on November 18, after he had rejected a previous similar order. Hundreds of patients and displaced persons were evacuated from Al-Shifa Hospital to another hospital in the south of the Gaza Strip, in addition to the transfer of dozens of premature babies. While dozens are still stuck in the hospital so far.

A doctor at Al-Shifa Complex told Al Jazeera that the occupation forces stormed the emergency department yesterday, Wednesday, and conducted searches inside it.

The doctor indicated that 3 doctors and 4 nurses are providing care for the 180 patients who are still stuck in the hospital.
