Today, Friday, the Israeli army published a map according to which it was divided Gaza strip to hundreds of residential squares, claiming that it aims to enable Palestinians to know the places of evacuation under the division, hours after the end of Humanitarian truce.
Residential squares – according to the Israeli army's divisions – were given numbers and their boundaries were carefully mapped, so that civilians could evacuate if a specific square was targeted.
The Israeli army claimed that this division would avoid civilian casualties and make it easier for Palestinians to move to safe places according to military instructions that will be issued in the coming days.
The occupation army spokesman, Avichai Adraee, claimed that the Islamic Resistance Movement (agitation) operates from within civilian institutions in the Gaza Strip, claiming that it uses civilians as “human shields.”
He continued that they were carrying out a “controlled evacuation operation” to keep civilians away from the war zone, according to his claim.
It was said that this division comes after the United States asked Israel to take measures to protect civilians during its military operations in Gaza.
Since the end of the truce at seven in the morning local time, Israel has randomly bombed all areas in the Gaza Strip, targeting inhabited homes in the south, which it considered a “safe area” and asked residents of the north to flee there.
The number of martyrs during the past few hours reached 54 Palestinians, while the Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, resulted in the death of more than 15,000 citizens and the injury of more than 36,000 others.
