The Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of night raids into cities and villages in West BankAnd arrested two Palestinians.
Sources told Al Jazeera that the occupation forces stormed the city of Hebron, south of the West Bank, and raided an exchange shop and a number of homes, and also stormed the city of Halhul, north of Hebron.
Also in the southern West Bank, the occupation forces stormed the towns of Beit Fajjar (south of Bethlehem) and Al-Askira, east of the city, and sources told Al Jazeera that they launched a massive arrest campaign.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the occupation army stormed Balata camp in the eastern region of the city, and local sources reported that it surrounded a house in the camp and arrested a Palestinian.
At some point yesterday evening, 4 Palestinians – including two children – were injured by Israeli army gunfire, and 4 suffered from gas suffocation during confrontations in the town of Beit Furik.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said – in a brief statement, a copy of which was received by Anatolia – that its crews transported to the hospital a 15-year-old Palestinian who was injured by live bullets in the foot and bullet fragments in the back.
She added that a 16-year-old Palestinian was injured by shrapnel from live bullets in the back during the Beit Furik confrontations near (east of the city of) Nablus.
In a later statement, Al-Hilal Society said that its crews dealt with two injuries from live bullets, and 4 injuries (suffocation) from tear gas.
According to eyewitnesses, the town itself was subjected to two raids, during one of which two children were injured, then the army withdrew. In the second raid, two injuries and cases of gas suffocation were recorded.
The official Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that ambulance crews took a young man (25 years old) to the hospital after suffering bruises after the occupation soldiers assaulted him near the Tur Gate on Mount Gerizim in Nablus.
