Journalist Akram Al-Qassas, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Editor-in-Chief of the Seventh Day, participated in the opening of the sixth edition of the Media Students Creativity Festival this evening, and it will conclude its work next Wednesday, which is organized by the Higher International Institute for Media in El-Shorouk, at Al-Ahram Foundation, in the presence of the journalist writer Alaa Thabet, editor-in-chief of Al-Ahram Major General Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Shorouk Academy, Dr. Muhammad Saad Ibrahim, Dean of the International Higher Institute of Media, Dr. Muhammad Shoman, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at the British University, and a number of professors of media faculties and departments in Egyptian universities.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, the able artist, Suhair Al-Murshidi, was honored for her overall work, and the students made a documentary film about her.
The Media Students Creativity Festival witnessed the participation of about 37 colleges and higher institutes for media in various Egyptian and Arab universities, between magazines, newspapers, documentaries and programs of various students’ creativity.
